According to a statement made on the SNCF website at 6am this Friday morning, most direct trains or a connection between Paris and Toulouse will be full for this Friday 19 March. This is the case for the TGV at 7:14 a.m., 9:52 a.m., 10:52 a.m., 1:52 p.m., 2:52 p.m., 6:52 p.m., 7:52 p.m., the Intercités at 10:21 p.m. and the bus that departs at 10:30 p.m. from Austerlitz train station.
At 6 a.m. this morning, half a dozen trains were still open for reservations – TGV or Intercités – at an average price of 100 to 130 euros for one person without a discount card.
The situation between Paris and Montpellier is the same as arriving at Saint-Roch train station in the city center or at Sud de France train station. At 6 a.m. this morning, fewer than five trains were still available. Same phenomenon between Paris and Bordeaux Saint-Jean station.

Parisians in Brittany from Thursday evening
Occitania is not the only region affected by this phenomenon. Many TGVs are full for the day in Brittany. The trains to Brest, Vannes, Saint-Malo or Quimper are almost all full, says Le Télégramme. Red vests as reinforcements
In order to cope with the high traffic at the Paris train stations – especially at Montparnasse train station in a south-westerly direction – the SNCF will mobilize its red vests for the big departures during the summer holidays. The company has applied for a “prosperity operation before childbirth” for its red vests, according to RTL.
According to the radio, all correspondence cards from TGV, InOui, OUIGO, Intercités and TER can be exchanged and refunded free of charge until departure by April 19.
