Two excavators resumed their work from 8 a.m. on Monday, April 26th. Little by little she returned to the vicinity of a road in the communal forest of Issancourt-et-Rumel. As on Monday, an archaeologist took part in the operations in support of the criminal identification teams, during which a drone was also mobilized.

“We haven’t found it yet, but Monique Olivier confirmed she was sure she’d dropped Fourniret there. Estelle’s body has to be in this area, it’s mandatory, ”Me Delgenes told the press at the end of the afternoon. “Once we have the virtual certainty that Estelle Mouzin’s body may have been dumped in the forest next door, there is no reason we cannot find it,” he said. But “it takes a bit of luck (…), there is nothing easy, especially 18 years later”, it “depends on where Mr. Fourniret buried the corpse, could not bury it”.
