Whether it is the French Colorado in Vaucluse or Russia in Nice! Discover the brief overview to see magnificent landscapes without crossing borders, some of which are closed! Some travel ideas for future vacations that could be turned upside down again!
The paradisiacal beaches of Corsica
In France, and especially in Corsica, there is a desert called the Agriates! It’s between Saint-Florent and the Ostriconi River … The beaches here are probably some of the most beautiful in the world! Are we not saying Corsica is the island of beauty? When driving through Corsica, under no circumstances should you miss the Bay of Bonifacio to the south and the streams of Piana to the north.

The Pilat Dune and the Arcachon Basin
This mountain of sand looks like the dunes of the Sahara in every way, but it is in Gironde! Climbing the dune requires considerable effort, but the panorama is great … when your path ends at the Pilat Dune, walk around the Arcachon basin and discover the small oyster villages (Arès, Cap Ferret …). Typical, great and tasty!

The Vaucluse Gorges
In the village of Rustrel in Vaucluse there is an old ocher deposit that leaves unique landscapes! Worn rock cliffs, canyons, a miniature Colorado 100 kilometers from Avignon. The American canyons also have nothing to envy to our famous Gorges du Verdon. The ideal place to go kayaking, but best with an instructor! The Verdon Gorges are dangerous and should not be explored alone!

Orthodox buildings in Nice or Essonne
In Nice, the Saint-Nicolas Cathedral is one of the most beautiful Orthodox buildings in France. In the Paris region, near Sainte Geneviève des Bois (91), you can admire the equally beautiful Eglise Notre Dame de l’Assomption.
When the Buddhist religion speaks to you, you can meditate with the monks of Moissy-Cramayel (77). A magnificent, little known and freely accessible temple is open to visit and you can recharge your batteries!
