The traffic of trains, and in particular TER, will be temporarily suspended between Toulouse and Agen this Wednesday 28 April, the SNCF announced on social networks. The alarm was given at 3 p.m.: A piece of luggage was left at the Montauban train station (Tarn-et-Garonne). “Luggage dropped off at Montauban train station requires a security area and the intervention of specialized teams,” says the SNCF.
Initially, the manager of the rail network estimated that traffic could resume around 4:00 p.m. At 3.43 p.m., the SNCF announced that the forestay could be closed and rail traffic could be resumed. “But count significant delays and adjustments for the next trains,” the company specifies.
